There are FIVE Specialist High Skills Major programs at PCI. They include Arts & Culture, Green Industries, Manufacturing, Sports, and Transportation.

SHSM is a program that occurs in your grade 11 and grade 12 years. You need to apply to this program when you are in grade 10. SHSM allows you to gain real life experiences in the courses that you are passionate about.

SHSM helps you do the following:

-build your resume though your experiences and certifications

-foster friendships with like-minded people

-and allows you to gain life skills that go beyond the classroom.

It is important to talk to your guidance counselor to ensure you are registered for the courses that you need to fulfill your SHSM requirements.
