Students can successfully demonstrate all skills without paying enhancement fees. Enhancement fees would allow students access to more professional-level media that have a corresponding greater cost.
Here are examples of basic supplies Digitial Photography students may be provided (as needed for individual projects):
Access during class to use of DSLR cameras (for those who do not want to use their own equipment), digital tablets, computers and software.
Projects can be done digitally and handed in online for evaluation.
Student grade art materials will be provided for multimedia projects.
Students will have access to a variety of reusable photographic props during class if they do not wish to provide their own.
The enhancement fee for Digital Photography is $10 per semester whether you are in grade 11 or 12. The following are some examples of materials that could be covered by enhancement fees this year:
Colour printing on thick paper (card stock or photographic paper).
T-shirt transfer material and colour printing.
Envelopes for original greeting cards.
Perishable photography props (food, cut flowers, etc.)
Artist grade materials for multimedia projects.
