Photography

Digital Photography incorporates both art and technology skills to solve creative challenges. The class uses a computer lab with industry standard software as its base.

Grade 11 Photography: Students learn how to take better photos with their own devices and our DSLR cameras, tripods, and lights. Photoshop post-production is featured. Hands on projects putting theory and technique into practice can be seen on the class page.

Grade 12 Photography: In senior photography problem solving drives learning to build on grade 11 knowledge. Students solve challenges in minimalist technique, capturing motion, creating surrealist images, repairing damaged photos, photojournalism, studio portraits, and graphic design.
