Citation Help & Resources

Citations are used to give credit to the original creator of a work (author / artist).

Every media format, every idea, every thing that is not your original idea MUST be cited.

Citation Help

Citations give credit to the original creator of the content you are using for your research. Citations are not difficult to create, and there are many tools and resources available to help you. Plagiarism (an academic form of idea theft) refers to work that is not properly Cited.

Subjects areas each have their own style of citing information, but the most common formats used in Secondary School are APA, MLA & Chicago Styles. Check with your teacher to see which style should be used, and their expectations.
