The Indigenous Academic Tutor program will pair Indigenous secondary students with Western Indigenous student tutors on an as-needed basis. The tutors will work with students, their teachers, and support staff to provide one-to-one academic support to students online or by phone.
The Indigenous Academic Tutor program is ready to connect with students as of this week. Please contact Melissa Schnarr, Indigenous Academic Tutor Coordinator, at mschnar2@uwo.ca, for more information and/or to refer a student.
The Senior M.A.P. Program focuses on supporting youth in Grades 9 through 12 in their educational journey. Students receive personalized tutoring help from volunteers who can provide assistance with homework, projects or studying for upcoming tests. Limited spots available please submit an application.

WesternYoung Tutors, a student-run club under the University of Western Ontario’s University Student Council since 2001. Our goal is to provide affordable, quality tutoring services to high school, in the London community. Students and parents are encouraged to contact tutors directly through this website to ask questions.
Wize is a Canadian online learning platform, led by an Ontario Certified Teacher, that has created simplified math lessons tailored specifically to the Ontario high school curriculum. This is not a Thames Valley School board site, or program, or Ministry site, but just a possible resource.
