Dual Credit Unique program offered to Grade 12 students to enroll in College level courses at a local College during the Fall and Winter semesters. This unique arrangement does require an application and not all students are selected. Course will continue through online delivery this school year. Elearning If this is part of your plan for next year or current year it is important to communicate that information with your guidance counsellor. The link shows potential courses offered through E-learning platform. Remember getting into an E-learning course is never for sure, as the courses options are for all students in Ontario and the classes are capped. This is NOT the same as REMOTE learning.
Western Initiative for Scholarly Excellence(WISE) Current Grade 11 students who have a high academic average can apply to take a university half or whole year course at Western University 2020-21, tuition free. While this course cannot be used in students’ admission average, it is an excellent transitional reach ahead activity. There are 100 spots available and are filled based on merit and a first come first serve basis. The application will not open until May but for more information on this program, please visit the site.

LONDON PUBLIC LIBRARY Mentoring Opportunity
Beyond the Book; One-on-one mentor program for highschool students.This is a pilot program being offered by the London Public Library for Teens in grades 9-12 who need to build a love of reading as well as gain confidence and conversational communication skills.
Participants will be matched with a University/College age (18-24) partner. Weekly sessions will include email and video chat between late February and May of 2021.

JA South Western Ontario is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy by providing FREE experiential learning programs that focus on work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Provides students with a low-risk, first-hand experience in business and entrepreneurship and can be easily integrated in-class to support the curriculum outcomes of a variety of high school courses. JA provides all the resources and support to help teachers create a meaningful experience for students.
This year, through JA’s Building a Stronger Future initiative, JA Company Program is also being offered with a Skilled Trades / Technology focus, providing students with an opportunity to explore how entrepreneurial skills can be applied in these high-demand sectors.
Students may also register independently to participate in our virtual After-School version of the JA Company Program.The 2021-2022 Virtual JA Company Program starts November 15th.
