It is suggested that your child do 15-20 minutes of nightly reading. Your child will have the opportunity to select a small book from his/her class book bin to bring home each night. It is fine to read the same book a few times. However, nightly reading can take on many forms from word work, to computer work, to listening to stories on the computer and of course, listening to you read and reading to you. It is very important that your child sees you enjoying literature too. I will be posting our weekly words for you to access at home with some suggested activities that will help your child review them.
