Smaller problems: What flavor? Do I have the ingredients? When does it need to be done by? What can be used in place of candles?
Academic example
Big problem: I need to analyze a primary text.
Smaller problems: What is the main idea? What type of evidence am I looking for? How do I know if the part I am reading helps me toward my goal?
