Eligibility: Any employee with less than 1 year of service with the company will NOT
be granted unpaid time off except for an in-person doctor's visit with supporting
documentation (not a virtual doctor excuse note).
Accrual: In the first year of service, employees are not granted paid time off.
Approval Required: Unpaid time off requests for in-person doctor's visit should be
submitted for approval at least thirty (30) days in advance for consideration. Requests
are to be made on the When I Work site or app. While there is no guarantee the time
off will be approved, failing to submit time off requests in a timely manner increases the
potential for denial/rejection.
Eligibility: Permanent full-time employees may use paid time off once accrued (does
not carry over, expires after each work anniversary year earned).
Accrual: 40 hours of paid time off will be awarded to employees who have worked for
over one year with the corporation. Paid time off must be accrued before it is taken.

Employees who resign or transfer to a part-time position and do not give and complete
a two weeks'' notice or are involuntarily dismissed, forfeit any unused accrued paid
time off. Employees are not permitted to use their paid time off during their two week
resignation period.

Lottery will be held one month in advance for both holidays
HOW TO REQUEST TIME OFF?
Make a request on the When I Work app for manager approval (Unpaid if no PTO available)
Submit your request 30 days in advance (must not fall on a Holiday)
Steps
Here are the step-by-step instructions for you to request time off using the When I Work app.
From the When I Work Scheduling App, tap the Time Off Requests dashboard card.
Alternatively, you can tap Requests button and then tap +.
In the top-right corner of the screen, tap +.
Set up your time off request > Time Off Type > All Day or Start and End
When you're finished, tap Done in the top-right corner of the screen.
After you submit your time off request, it is sent for approval.
Here are the step-by-step instructions for you to swap shifts using the When I Work app.
Swap a shift
From the When I Work Scheduling app, tap My Schedule on the Dashboard.
Alternatively, you can tap Menu button and then tap Schedule.
In the My Shifts list, tap the shift that you would like to swap with a coworker.
Under NEED YOUR SHIFT COVERED?, click Swap Shift.
Select the shifts that you’re willing to work in place of your shift. By default, all eligible shifts are selected.
The timeframe for eligibility is 7 days prior to 7 days after the offered shift, or 14 days from today if the offered shift takes place in the next 7 days.
To deselect all shifts, tap the ellipsis (...), then tap Deselect All.
To select all shifts, tap the ellipsis (...), then tap Select All.
To select a shift, tap the check box next to it.
When you’re ready to send the swap request, tap Offer Shift.
Tap I Understand to confirm that you want to send the request.
That’s it! Your request has been sent.
Shift Responsibility
It’s still your responsibility to work the shift until one of your coworkers takes it.
