"Students who have a good understanding of English and have the discipline for daily language practice are encouraged to study a world language. Students planning to pursue a four-year professional degree program should take 4-5 years of a world language beginning in the 8th or 9th grade. Students planning to pursue a two year technical program should take 2 years of a world language beginning in the 10th or 11th grade."

Ms. Bickley has been teaching for 32 years, all of which at AHS. She currently teaches Spanish I, III, and V/CCP Spanish.

Mrs. Baker has been teaching for 29 years, 20 of which being at AHS. She currently teaches Spanish II, IV, and V, as well as Spanish for Native Speakers.
