There are many opportunities for students looking to enlist in today's military:https://www.todaysmilitary.com/

Full-time Enlistment (All Branches):

This requires a full-time commitment to the branch (training and deployment) with each branch having a specialized focus.

Reserves (All Branches):

The Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard all have a branch of the reserves with each offering close to home training on a part-time basis.

National Guard (Army & Air):

The Army and Air National Guard's focus is mainly at the state level, but may be required to assist nationally as well. The Army National Guard also deploys on a part-time basis with the Army.

The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC):A college program offered at more than 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States that prepares young adults to become officers in the U.S. Military.

In exchange for a paid college education and a guaranteed post-college career, participants, or cadets, commit to serve in the Military after graduation. Each Service branch has its own take on ROTC.

Take the ASVAB

All AHS and Career Center juniors will take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) exam to help determine career interests.

Military Entrance Processing Station

Students must first contact a recruiter and will then visit a Military Entrance Processing Station to have a physical/medical screening and review the results of their ASVAB exam.

Meet with a Service Enlistment Counselor

Once students are cleared through the screening process they will need to meet with a service enlistment counselor to determine their best-suited career.
