About Me

Mrs. McNaughton is so excited to be part of the Hiawatha family! She can’t wait to share all of the great books and resources the library has.  Classes attend the library once a week, but she gets to see everyone from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade! Mrs. McNaughton went to Merrimac, Seneca, and then graduated from Sachem East, so she is thrilled to be back in the Sachem community.

During Library class we cover a wide variety of subjects and skills. 

Library curriculum develops throughout elementary school. 

All grade levels participate in the topics listed below - coverage is grade appropriate that will progress with each unit of study.
