Art 2

Art 2 is offered to 7th and 8th grade students who have taken Art 1 in middle school.

Art 2 students understand how to effectively use the elements of art and principles of design to create drawings, paintings, prints, sculptures, and ceramics.

Art 2 students will create in depth analysis of their work and the works of others. Students will engage in critiques and reflections in order to evaluate their own skill mastery.

Art 2 students will continue to read about the works of past and contemporary artists to form an appreciation of art history and the art world.
