The screenshot reader converts text embedded in pictures, diagrams, tables, charts, maps, graphs, ads online, into accessible text through OCR, allowing for reading aloud.
This tool will allow almost anything to be read aloud for students but is especially helpful for inaccessible PDFs and other “pictures containing text.”
To use, simply click the screen reader icon, then drag your mouse to draw a rectangle around any inaccessible text. This text will then be converted to an OCR format that can be read by the toolbar's screen reader.
