The Collect Highlights tool works in tandem with the web toobar's Highlighter & Eraser tool. Once you have highlighted text on a webpage, click on the Collect Highlights icon. A Google Doc will automatically be generated that includes all of your highlighted text, organized by highlight colour. You can choose whether to collect highlights of all colours, or only the colours of your choosing.
When you want to get rid of your highlights, simply choose the highlighted text and click on the broom icon.
