Canadian Parents for French had to cancel the provincial Concours d’art oratoire (speech competition) however they are hosting a slightly modified, online version of the contest.
The Concours virtuel is an opportunity for students to share how they are spending their time while schools are closed and events are cancelled with a video en français. The contest is open to all students from grade Primary to grade 12, regardless of French program. A donation of $10 to Food Banks Canada will be made on behalf of students submitting from grades P-5. Students in grade 6-12 are eligible to win a cash prize with a matching donation to a charity of their choice. Deadline is May 2. #EnsembleADistance
O'Poésie is a national poetry competition through Canadian Parents for French. The contest is for students between 6 and 18 years of age who are learning French as an additional language.
