The ANNOUNCEMENTS for Monday, December 1st Day 2

· The Intramural Ball Hockey League begins today at lunch. Please see the team lists and schedule posted outside the gymnasium door.

· This Wednesday after school is the first practice for anyone interested in trying out for the Badminton Team this year. Practice will be right after school on Wednesday from 3;15 to 4:45 p.m. See Mr. Framp for more details.

· On Friday Dec.5 Career Café: Exploring Careers
A variety of careers will be spotlighted in the cafeteria from 1:30 -3:30pm
· Do you have an interest in Marine related programs? Would you like to know more about marine related careers? There will be a special presentation here at the school offered by NSCC Recruitment Officer and a former Cruise Ship Captain on Monday, December 15th during first period. If you are interested in attending, please sign up outside Guidance.
· 1) Are you interested in learning French? Are you interested in travelling to a different part of the country to gain some independence and experience? Consider the Explore Program and you could earn high school credit and the most of the program costs are free. Interested in learning more? Attend one a virtual information session on Wednesday, December 3rd during 2nd period. For more information, see Mrs. Lohnes-Cashin in Guidance.
· 2) Are you interested in working while you learn? Have you considered becoming an Apprentice? There will be two presentations from the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency on Monday, December 8th during first and second class in Ms. Miller's classroom. If you would like to attend one of these sessions, please see Mrs. Lohnes-Cashin.
SAVE the dates! In 2027 we are going to Paris and London during March Break! THEN... in 2028 we will be indulging in the history and culture of Central Europe!
**The 2027 trip is for students who are currently in grades 10 & 11.
