· "If you are participating in a spirit week dress-up day this week, come to Ms. Issie at recess and get House points for participating! All you have to do is show her that you've dressed up for the day's theme."
· The boys soccer team won their first playoff game, defeating South Colchester Academy 6-1 to advance. A great game with a goal each for Caillum Burgess, Ali Bates and Alex Hill and a hat trick from #7 Liam Hill.
· A reminder to grade 12 students that today is the last day to apply to Saint F. X. University for FREE! If you are considering St. F. X., applying is easy and free today for the last day. If you need assistance, see Mrs. Lohnes-Cashin.
· Are you a high school student interested in a career in the Health Sciences? If so, you may be interested in attending a virtual Discovery Day presented by the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame on December 3rd. The day will include a keynote speaker and two interactive workshops where you will have the opportunity to get a glimpse into the many career opportunities in medicine and health sciences. · The AARAO Tour is coming to Forest Heights! Grades 10 - 12 will have the opportunity to collect information and have questions answered from 33 Atlantic Canadian Universities, Colleges and programs. Scan the QR code on the posters around school to make the process easier for schools to send you information directly. See Mrs. Lohnes-Cashin if you have any questions.
· Do you need a calming or relaxing activity? Do you need a way to pause all of the noise? Let's colour. Mrs. Lohnes-Cashin is starting a Colouring Club. It will be held on Tuesday at lunch in her office. No experience needed. Everything will be provided. Bring your lunch, colour and notice your mind & body relaxing.
SAVE the dates! In 2027 we are going to Paris and London during March Break! THEN... in 2028 we will be indulging in the history and culture of Central Europe!
