Thanksgiving- October 13th- No School
New this year as of September 2025, is the Provincial Code of Conduct. Please take a few minutes to read this document. It explains how we keep our school safe and caring, and how we help students when behaviour concerns come up.
In alignment with the Code of Conduct above, we have created a school mission and values statement as well as a behavioural matrix. We use these as teaching tools each day with our students.
To support strong communication between families and school staff, we’d like to clarify when you can expect a response after reaching out along with the process of escalating issues.
The first point of contact at your child’s school should always be their Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or teacher. If your issue or concern isn’t resolved, the next contact is the Principal. Please review our full parent/guardian concern protocol here.
During school hours, school staff are focused on teaching and student supervision, which means they may not be able to respond to messages immediately.
Response Timing: You can expect to receive an acknowledgement of your message within two working days. This may be a brief note confirming receipt and indicating when a more detailed response will follow.
Urgent Matters: If your concern is urgent or time-sensitive, we encourage you to contact the main office directly.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to balance timely communication with our commitment to providing high-quality support to students during the school day.
