Principals Update

• The CBVRCE has moved to an 8 day cycle. 

• Vaccination Policy for staff of the CBVRCE 

• New teachers: Stephen Burzese,Michael Powers, Dave MacEachern, Mallery Williams, Logan Courtney 

• Graduation photos will take place Thursday October 21, 2021

• A Schools Plus worker has been hired and will be working from Cabot. At the moment housing is an issue. 

• NOS is experiencing a shortage of substitute teachers. Currently the CBVRCE is accepting applications from individuals who hold a BA or BSC

• In the near future the school will be equipped with a keyless entry system. Staff members will be provided with access cards. 

School Improvement Plan 

• Cabot established new SIP goals

• Students will improve their use of the RACE strategy (Steps 1-2)

• Students will improve their number sense through multiplication skills, specifically facts up to 12x12

• Cabot will increase parent and community involvement. The school is looking to establish a Home and School Association.
