Scent-Sensitive Environment
At Cabot Education Centre, the health and safety of our students, staff, and visitors is our top priority. We would like to remind our school community that Cabot Education Centre is a scent-sensitive environment.
Some individuals in our building experience serious health effects when exposed to scented products. These reactions can include respiratory distress, migraines, skin irritation, and, in some cases, life-threatening anaphylaxis.
To help us maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all, we kindly ask that students, staff, parents/guardians, and visitors refrain from wearing or using scented products such as:
Perfumes and colognes
Scented lotions or creams
Body sprays and deodorants with fragrance
Scented hair products
Scented hand sanitizers
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to create a healthy learning environment for everyone.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.
Thank you for helping us keep Cabot Education Centre a safe and welcoming space for all.
