According to Tennessee's Youth Risk Behavior Survey, the percentage of high school students who are currently smoking cigarettes on a daily basis has dropped from 11.3% to 2% since 1993. With the introduction of alternative smoking devices (e-cigarettes/vape products), the percentage of high school students who are currently using e-cigarettes daily is 11.7%.
