How to arrive?

By bus: Bus connects to the north of Spain -Galicia and the Basque Country- as well as the Communities of Extremadura, Castilla y León, Castilla La Mancha, Community of Madrid or el Levante Español. Likewise there is regular frequent service to Sevilla, Costa del Sol and east Andalusia.

By train: The province of Cádiz is connected with rest of Spain and part of Europe, either through direct or transfer routes. Most notable is the connection with the capital, Madrid, with an average 12 daily services to Cádiz, San Fernando, Puerto de Santa María and Jerez - directly or using the AVE high speed railway from Sevilla.

By plane: The Jerez airport, on the other hand, offers both domestic flights during the entire year and several connections with European capitals, especially during holiday seasons. Furthermore, the Algeciras heliport connects Campo de Gibraltar with the autonomous city of Ceuta. Seville airport, about 1,30h far from Cádiz, is also a convenient option for international flights.

Where to stay?

The city of Cádiz is an amazing place to explore on foot. Situated at the end of a peninsula, Cádiz is surprisingly compact and easy to navigate, even for the most timid of visitors. Its cathedral, its ancient walls, its old fortifications, and its narrow streets all work to invite the visitor into the city's heart and engulf them in the soul of the place. As you wander, it almost feels as though centuries of history are wandering along with you, silent witnesses to the the many events that comprise the past.

Below are a list of relatively central hotels in Cádiz, all of which allow for the utmost enjoyment of this capital city. Eat well, drink well, and still be able to walk home! Each hotel has its own individual style and selling point, whether it be location or style, or both. A lot of hotels in Spain have lower star ratings, but this certainly does not mean they lack in quality.
