The topic of our project is self-confidence. An effective strategy that can be used to promote confidence is self-care. Due to the various factors that contribute to self-esteem, it is important to promote physical and mental care. A self-care routine is shown in improving your view about yourself. Reading is important and it opens our eyes to a lot of things. You can read books that improve your image about yourself and books that give you many options you can choose from to continue a successful life.

Research has found that participation in voluntary services is significantly predictive of better mental and physical health according to an article published in BMC Public Health journal. Because volunteering is an idea that is worth spreading, we are going to raise awareness of it on social media platforms and share the volunteering opportunities with our communities so that we can benefit as many people as we could.

A lack of self-confidence is a big barrier to reaching personal goals. Without a sense of security and trust in themselves, young women doubt themselves. The stereotypes of women often contribute to this lack of confidence, as well as family life, cultural and religious beliefs, and school. And without self-confidence, no one will be able to reach their personal goal. Thus, our team has decided to use the strategy of writing and friendship to help combat these issues.

Self-confidence is a positive attitude about one's skills and abilities. It implies that you accept and trust yourself and that you have a sense of control over your life. You are aware of your strengths and weaknesses and have a favorable self-image. You can set reasonable objectives and goals, speak assertively, and manage criticism.
Low self-confidence, on the other end, may cause you to question yourself, be passive or submissive, or have trouble trusting others. You may feel inferior, neglected, or easily offended. Depending on the circumstances, you may or may not feel confident in yourself. For example, you may be quite confident in some areas, such as academics, while lacking confidence in others, such as relationships.

Many people with low self-esteem have a hard time celebrating themselves because they don’t focus on their achievement but focus on everything they did wrong while working on it. You may also compare your work with others and their fields which can bread feelings of inadequacy even if you are talented and ambitious and you know that but still lack the confidence to realize your goals.
The solution is to learn to celebrate yourself.

The strategy that we prefer to use is to write down our goals and surround ourselves with positive people that can affect our choices and motivations, like trusted adults or supportive friends, so that they will encourage us to achieve our goals, give us advice and motivate us. You can apply this strategy by choosing your trusted community wisely, like friends or classmates.

Self confidence and personal goals:
Start with the small tasks that you were avoiding and make a to-do list of everything you want to do during the day. For example: cleaning the house, calling a friend you haven't spoken to in a long time, etc. You will love it more than before.

Our strategy is “Reflecting on our Accomplishments”. We’re moving so fast through our lives that it’s easier than ever to miss out on some of our smaller but still significant successes. We’re often so busy that we don’t give a second of our time to think about how far we’ve come. But remembering our successful memories, thinking about our accomplishments, no matter how small/big they are, and being proud of them no matter what we had achieved in a day (even if it was washing the dishes) helps strengthen our self-confidence.
