Start:
one paragraph for personal interest - why are you doing this project?
one paragraph for academic connections - what MYP courses or other academic subjects connect to your project
one paragraph to state what your learning goal is and then how you will plan to achieve it
one paragraph for your product goal - what will you do or make to showcase your learning, and how you will achieve it -
Make sure to email your supervisor and copy your MYP core teacher, Ibu Popy and Ibu Sue on your email . (link is a sample email)

Reminder that students will need to complete an Academic Honesty form and have it signed by their supervisor before their personal project is sent to the IB.
Students must pass their personal project with a 4 or higher in order to do the full Diploma Programme - otherwise, they take DP courses and do not earn the full IB Diploma
Begin to research for their personal project - students should have a variety of sources, such as Articles, Books, Journals, interviews, etc. JSTOR and Google Scholar are also excellent sources.

Report Template (your final report needs to be removed from the template)
Format Report: Use the same report template that you used for the Criterion A submission.
Your file should be in the form of a PDF and contain the following:
Academic Honesty Form – Meeting 1, 2, and 3 columns should have specific information. Do this in Managebac
The revised version of Criterion A, B, and C - is based on the suggestion from your PP supervisor.
Bibliography - a minimum of 10 resources - MLA format.
Your citation must follow MLA format (version 9)
Make sure your report has a page numbers and is 11 point font with 2 cm margins.
Name your file using the format: your full name, class, and DRAFT PP REPORT (example: Popy Novita-10F-DRAFT PP REPORT).

Remember to add the language of the ATL sub strands into your report.
Please email your supervisor by the end of the day Monday, January 13th, to request a meeting with them. (if you haven't done so already) During the meeting, you and your supervisor will go over your report and use the PP supervisor checklist (your supervisor will need to check the boxes - comments are optional) - clicking here will make a copy of the document - They will put the document in the tracking spreadsheet - here

The due date for the presentation/ poster/canva is Friday, 17th January 2025 at 16.00. Ibu Sue, Pak Tofan, and several teachers will choose the 10 best students based on their visual display and verbal delivery of their PP report in the booths.
