What is the Personal Project? 

Two main focuses 

LEARNING GOAL - What do you want to learn about? 

PRODUCT GOAL - What will you do or make to demonstrate what you learned?

WHAT ARE THE AIMS? 

Inquire: 

• Explore interest that is personally meaningful

• Take ownership of their learning by undertaking a self-directed inquiry 

Act: 

• Transfer and apply skills in pursuit of a learning goal and the creation of a product 

Reflect:

• Recognize and evidence personal growth and development   

Components of Personal Project 

• Product

• Report - Maximum 15 pages 

• Bibliography/resources 

Student Expectations in Personal Project 

• Complete all elements of the personal project.

• Be independent in their thinking and learning. 

• To take responsibility and initiative in communicating with their supervisor. 

• Be aware, practice, and excel in their self-management skills. 

• Be thoughtful in their reflection towards the goal, ATL skills, and learner profile attributes.
