Dearest Students, Parents, and the Global Jaya Community,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We are truly delighted to welcome back our students, staff, and families. We hope you had a restful break and found time to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
This summer, I was especially grateful to spend some meaningful time with my own family. These moments of connection reminded me of how important it is to nurture relationships and embrace the joy of simply being together. I hope your holiday was equally fulfilling and that you are now ready to begin another exciting chapter in our school journey.
Over the past week, our teachers have been hard at work preparing classrooms, organizing resources, and refining curriculum plans. Their efforts have been focused on creating a positive and purposeful start to the year, one where every student feels welcomed, valued, safe, and ready to learn. We are excited to open our doors and greet our learners with spaces that inspire curiosity and confidence from day one.
This year, we are thrilled to welcome 4 new teachers and 64 new families to our Primary division. We encourage all our parents to read the Primary Parent Handbook linked on the school website. It provides vital information needed to ensure a successful and smooth school year for your child.
On Monday, August 11th, we look forward to seeing all of our students, new and returning, as they join us for the first day of school. Please note the following:
All primary students should use the East Gate for arrival starting 7:15 to 7:30.
All Primary students will be dismissed from the East Gate at the end of the day. This means that Year 5 - 6 will no longer use the theater exit at the end of the day.
Reception students will be dismissed at 1:30 on Wednesday - Friday.
Parent Meetings
Next week, on Wednesday, August 13, we will be organizing the Year Level Parent meeting sessions for all our families. It is an opportunity to get to know your teachers and other parents in your year group.
Summer Reading
We look forward to hearing about all the fun reading that took place over the summer. Here are the Summer Reading slides. Complete the task to earn house points and receive special recognition at our August Assembly. If your child participated and completed the Summer Reading, please have them fill in the Google form by August 15.
