Our P1-5 pupils recently entered a short story into The Loch Ness Centre's Short Story Competition.
It was a group effort as it had to be a collaborative piece of work.
First place was awarded to Dochgarroch Primary and we thoroughly enjoyed reading their super short story 'Nessie's Lost Friend'.
We were delighted to hear that we were awarded second place! We have won a tour of The Loch Ness Centre.
Second Place Spotlight – The Quest: Short Story Competition ✨📚
As part of The Quest Weekend, we challenged local schools to create their own Nessie-inspired tales—and they delivered!🌟 Second place goes to Balnain Primary School, who wowed us with their creativity, imagination, and heart. Their brilliant story earned them a full class tour of The Loch Ness Centre! 🏆🎉
We were so impressed by all the entries, we’ll be sharing one story every week—starting with Balnain’s magical tale. Dive in, enjoy, and be inspired by the next generation of storytellers.
