We are pleased to reveal our newest Poppy display in time for Remembrance Day 2025. Beautiful red poppies cascade down our school building, making for a striking display. Huge thanks to Mrs Johnstone for organising this, and her sister for providing the knitted poppies, and Mr Iain for providing the netting! Teamwork made this display - and we love it!
27.10.25 JRSO Competition Winners
Our JRSOs were impressed with all the poster competition entries they received. It was a very tough decision...but they eventually decided on the following winning poster designs:

27.10.25 Creativity
At our assembly today, we were learning about Meta-skills. There are 12 Meta-skills for us to explore, and this afternoon we learned more about Creativity! Creativity is also one of our school values, so this was a special one for us. We think we encourage Creativity across the school in many different ways...
Our P4-7 class enjoyed sharing some of their October holiday news through developing Play Projects this morning.
Have a look at some of their fantastic creations!
We have created a digital book to share our Mod Art Competition entries through Book Creator.
If you click on the sound icon on each page, you can hear a description of each piece of artwork from our pupils. You can also hear them share the Gaelic name of each piece of art!
We are delighted that our artwork is currently on display in the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh - what an awesome achievement!
Hope you enjoy!

We are absolutely delighted to share that our pupils' art work is currently on display at the National Galleries of Scotland in Edinburgh! Wow - What an honour!

10.10.25 Visit to Loch Ness Centre
Our P2-6 pupils were delighted to have won this visit to The Loch Ness Centre as a prize for their short story that they entered into The Quest competition last summer.
We enjoyed the interactive exhibition tour and had fun getting our photos taken with the green screen technology.
Here are just some of the photos that were taken...
What a great way to end the term.
Happy Holidays everyone!

29.09.25 - Cooking Club!
Our P4-7 pupils were delighted to have Cooking Club today so that they could make Apple Crumble too. Mrs McCloskey supported the children to read and follow the recipe, measure the ingredients and make their own apple crumble to take home. We were impressed with their food technology skills!
Pupils gave this recipe a great review!
We're glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much.
Well done everyone!
25.09.25 - Cooking Club!
P1-3 pupils put on their aprons this afternoon and were excited to make Apple Crumble in our first Cooking Club session of the year. We used apples from our own apple tree in the school grounds. Mrs McCloskey helped the children to follow the recipe and develop their food technology skills: measuring the ingredients, chopping the apples, gently cooking the apples and rubbing the butter with the flour and sugar. Good job everyone! We hope that you enjoy eating these at home.
