This is an intense full year art course for those who are looking to develop in their personal artistic voice, portfolio for college or just be fully immersed in an art experience.  It is a huge task and will take many hours to work on each design, so each student needs to be fully committed to the endeavor

For students to be successful they need to…

1. Be flexible with their ideas 

2. Work daily on their portfolio/Manage their time Well

3. Use the sketchbook to their advantage 

4. Explore, seek, and investigate for inventive solutions to design problems

5. Experiment with materials and media for interesting outcomes

AP portfolios require…  

Sustained Investigation: 15 images of artwork, which may include evidence of your works of arts’ progress/methodology/revision, created by you based on a concept completely developed by you. A written statement and explanation of the concept and its development is necessary for the final test submission.  All work is digitally submitted.

Quality: 5 images of your very best works of art, produced from any course/class or on your own, digitally submitted to the AP board for review.
