Glenbard West juniors and seniors have the opportunity to attend the TCD Explore Day field trip on Thursday, October 23 (morning session). This special event allows students to visit the Technology Center of DuPage (TCD) and explore career-focused programs in action.

Important details:

• Explore Day is open to sophomores and juniors only.
  
  

• Completing the form does not guarantee attendance - it is used to gather interest and plan groups.
  
  

• If you are selected to attend, your counselor will notify you. A parent/guardian permission slip will then be required.
  
  

Deadline to submit the interest form: Friday, October 10, 2025.

The TCD Explore Day field trip allows juniors and seniors to explore career and technical education programs at the Technology Center of DuPage (TCD). Students who attend will spend the morning of Thursday, October 23, 2025, visiting programs of interest and learning more about career pathways available during high school and beyond.

Key Details for Parents:

• Who can attend? Sophomores and juniors only.
  
  

• Selection process: Students first complete an Interest Form indicating their top three program choices. Completion of the form does not guarantee attendance.
  
  

• Notification: Counselors will notify selected students.
  
  

• Permission slip: Attendance requires a signed parent/guardian permission slip, which will be distributed once students are selected.
  
  

• Transportation: School buses will transport students to and from TCD.
  
  

• Timing: This is a morning-only event. Students will return to West by lunchtime and resume their regular schedule.
