Turn on the ViewSonic ViewBoard and make sure the Vivi screen is displayed.
On your Chromebook, open Google Chrome and go to: app.vivi.io
Select the option to sign in with Google.
Sign in using your Gilmer County Schools Google account.
After signing in, select your school and classroom from the list of available Vivi rooms.
Select Share Screen.
When Chrome asks what you would like to share, choose the appropriate option:
Entire Screen to display everything on your Chromebook
Window to display only one open application
Chrome Tab to display only one browser tab
Select the screen, window, or tab you want to display, and then click Share.
Your Chromebook screen should now appear on the ViewSonic ViewBoard.
When you are finished, return to the Vivi web application and select Stop Sharing. You may also use the Stop sharing button displayed by Chrome.
Both the Chromebook and the classroom Vivi system must be connected to the district network for screen sharing to work properly. Vivi sends the screen from the Chromebook to the classroom receiver over the local network.
Please Note: When streaming from a chromebook, The Viewsonic voew board will not have touch screen capability.
Make sure you selected the correct school and that the room name matches the name displayed on the ViewBoard. If the classroom still does not appear, contact your building technology specialist.
