Global Academy Enrollment Deadlines and Start Dates

Important notes for students:

• To receive credit in an online course, students must pass their final with a score of  60% or better. Final exams are challenging and represent application of the lessons and learning in each class. Students who are successful have read and taken notes in the lessons and have spent time in the interactive activities. While some students have moved faster through the course by skipping the reading and using Google to help with activities and assignments, they usually have not been able to pass the final and subsequently have failed the class.  Please take these courses seriously, use the lesson slides to do the assignments, and study well before the final exam.  

• Students taking courses for a grade replacement must take the same course as the original. For example, to replace a grade in an Honors level class, the same Honors course must be selected at Global. 

• We encourage you to challenge yourself to Honors level courses. They are available in English (7th grade through English II), Math, Science and Modern Language for all students. Honors English III and IV are reserved for Full-Time Global Academy student only.
