Gilbert High School
Air Force Junior ROTC
Welcome to AZ-941
We are a Air Force Junior ROTC unit in Gilbert, Arizona. The Air Force JROTC mission is "Develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community." The corps objective is "To educate and train high school cadets in citizenship; promote community service; instill responsibility, character, self-discipline; and provide instruction in fundamentals of air and space science." While a member of AZ-941, cadets are required to meet the dress and appearance standards set forth by Air Force regulations, to include wearing the JROTC uniform properly every Tuesday.
AZ-941 has a proud history since it was established in 1994. Major Dean Loucel (ret) opened AZ-941 in the fall of 1994. Many outstanding cadets have passed through the doors of AZ-941. We take great pride in our history and supporting those cadets as they transitioned from being high school students to a productive member of society.
Please take a look at our calendar and the events page to see what's happening next. You can always find us on the drill pad, drill competitions, or performing color guard duties at Gilbert High School athletic events, and supporting the Gilbert community.
