ESSA Data Review

ESSA requires states to support a school-level data review based on the measures included in the accountability index.  To address this requirement, all schools identified in need of Comprehensive, Extended Comprehensive, Targeted or Extended Targeted Support and Improvement are required to complete a Data Review in Year One: Planning (first year of designation). It is highly recommended that schools complete the Data Review annually.   Results of the Data Review will provide designated schools with a Priority Content Area.

The Data Review must be submitted in the Consolidated Application for Support and Accountability (CASA), which is a secure application under the Iowa Education Portal. Instructions for CASA access can be found on the CASA web page. Please note that a team member with building level access to CASA will be required submit.
