 Your Mental Health is Important! 

In 2019, Garden Grove Unified began our Choose Wellness Campaign, which focused on the emotional wellness of students, families, and staff members.   GGUSD recognizes the increase in mental health challenges and, as a result, GGUSD continues place great emphasis on the provision of school based mental health services to assist students in their social-emotional and academic functioning.

In order to promote mental health awareness and access to services, California legislation-AB 748 requires that on or before the 2023-2024 school year, each school site in a district serving pupils in grades 6-12, create a poster to share information about, and promote, mental health and wellness. These posters are prominently displayed in high traffic areas which are located on all of our school campuses, and are accessible to all students in multiple languages.  A variety of  mental health resources, including information on these posters are listed below:
