The purpose of this college prep course is to help all students improve their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in order to prepare them for success in high school, college, and career.

This English 3P course is designed to give an overview of the American literary periods. We will read, deconstruct, and write about numerous fiction and nonfiction writings in American history spanning from the Puritan era to the Contemporary Period. 

All assignments will be aligned with the California Common Core State Standards.
