The Readers’ Club intends to imbibe the pleasures and benefits of reading among the Garcians. By implementing the activities of the club, we hope to achieve the following:

Objectives:

• To motivate Garcians to read.

• To initiate them into the joy of reading.

• To prepare them to taste the power of information.

• To explore the pleasures of 3Rs-Read, Relish & Review.

• To help them turn Literacy Barriers into Literacy Treasure Hunt.

• To create an atmosphere for them to enrich, empower, excel & emulate critical reading strategies.

• To break language barriers with book battalions.

• To equip them to travel on information super highways.

• To bring book fans, book fanatics, book lovers, book hunters, book connoisseurs under one canopy.

Rules & Regulations:

1) Students can become a member of the book club by filling online form URL: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeO4ov_g__rxIxb4GKno3UEGeDAfXgtc7YvhkAqfqBYc8xeIQ/viewform?usp=pp_url

2) book club provides a platform to students/ staff for sharing their ideas knowledge via already read books, articles, e-books, journals, newspaper articles, e-article and any e-resources.

3) students staff should contact email the librarian for advance booking for your session.

4) After approval from Librarian, students/staff can share their ideas knowledge and wisdom with book club members.

5) Book club members can get an additional one physical book from the library for 7 days.

6) Book club members should join the online group based on the telegram platform.
