UNITED STATES - In 2023, Alison Moore created a game called “ Game to Change the World because she knew that there were tons of people in need. She knew that a lot of people would pay real money for stuff in the game and all that money goes to people in need. Through the game she raised millions of dollars in just 2 months .
Alison Moore saw that people were in need and wanted to help, but she didn’t know how. So she thought long and hard and decided that if she made a game, all the money she earned from it would go to people in need, especially kids who are struggling with their mental health whose parents can’t afford to pay for treatments.
Alison knew that kids love to play games and that these kids would ask their parents for money to buy items in the game. The money would then go to her and she would give it to people in need in hospitals who can’t pay their bills.

On February 23, 2025, the New York Knicks challenged the Boston Celtics in Boston, and their fans wondered who would come out on top.
The Celtics took home the win at the TD Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, dominating the Knicks 118 - 105. The MVP of the game was Jayson Tatum, who scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, and 9 assists.
The Knicks and Celtics are both high quality teams, but when they meet a team that is equally as superior, anything can happen.

Justin Copeland is a former Temple student who was recently accepted into LACHSA, the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and has started posting on a YouTube channel. So far, the highest number of views he has gotten for one video is 24,000.
In April, Justin was accepted, into LACHSA, which is one of the top five music and arts schools in the U.S, with the help of his music teacher Mr. Woo and his dad. They supported him with rehearsals, giving up time for him, and his dad spent a lot of money on his really expensive saxophones.
LACHSA is a high school connected to Cal State LA, where the acceptance rate is only 10%. To get into the school you must audition by playing two songs to show off your tone. If they enjoy your performance they will give you a call back. Then you go to LACHSA on the CSULA campus and play your instrument while being monitored and evaluated by a panel of 6 judges. Only if you meet all of the requirements will they accept you into the school.

After the monstrous wildfires in LA., three arts organizations are helping victims of this tragedy. This is how the community is coming together to help others.
The wildfires in Los Angeles caused a lot of damage, especially to artists and their workspaces. To help out, important art organizations like the Getty and LACMA have started a fund of $12 million (and growing) to support artists and art workers who lost homes or jobs. This money helps them pay for things like new places to live, food, and clothes.
But it’s not just about money. Local art groups and venues are giving out free tickets to concerts, dance shows, and operas. Places like L.A. Dance Project and BroadStage are letting people who were affected by the fires come for free or pay what they can. It gives people a chance to relax, have fun, and feel like part of the community again.
The fires didn’t just hurt artists, they also affected families and schools. In Pasadena, schools were closed for two weeks, and when they reopened, kids had to wear masks outside because of the toxic ash in the air. Parents felt sad seeing their kids masked up again, like during the pandemic, but they knew it was to keep them safe.
Even though these wildfires caused a lot of damage, the way the community came together shows how strong L.A. is. People are helping each other, and that gives hope that things will get better.
Wildfires have been a big problem in California for years. This recent fire in Los Angeles is showing how quickly fires can spread and cause serious damage. It also reminds us how important it is for people to work together when something like this happens. One parent from Pasadena shared how it felt to drop off their kid at school while wearing masks because the air was full of toxic ash from the fire. It was a weird feeling, almost like the pandemic all over again.
This is a perfect example of Habit 6"Synergize", where everyone works together to make a bigger impact. By combining their efforts, these groups were able to provide a lot of help in a short amount of time. If more people worked this way earlier, maybe we could have protected some homes and families from the fire, but it shows how strong communities can be when they support each other
