Forbes Middle School Counseling Program Goals:
Individual Planning Goal:
The Forbes Counseling team will meet individually with students for registration, course advisement, and for student/parent meetings pertaining to ARDs, 504s, or other academic and emotional needs. The Forbes counselors will conduct interest inventories related to transition planning and meet with students/parents one-on-one to discuss academic and personal goals.
Guidance Goal:
The Forbes Counseling team will collaborate with teachers and administration to design lessons that promote social and emotional growth and well-being in and outside of the classroom. Google classrooms have been created for each grade level to promote and communicate lesson topics and important announcements pertaining to counseling related topics.
