Taxi and Ride Share

You can take a taxi or ride share to campus (we recommend Uber). To direct your driver to campus, tell the driver that your destination is Georgetown University or 3700 O St. NW. Please note that you will be reimbursed for taxi and ride-share expenses. Please keep a copy of all of your receipts. We recommend that you download the Uber app prior to arrival if you plan to use a ride-share when you are visiting Washington, DC. 

Walking

Stroll through the historic streets of Georgetown en route to and from campus. With many shops and cafes to stop into along the way, this is a great way to explore the city on foot. 

• Exit the hotel and turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue

• Follow Pennsylvania Avenue until it intersects with M St, then turn left

• Follow M St, and turn right at Wisconsin Avenue

• Follow Wisconsin Avenue, and turn right at O St (across from the Georgetown Sign over Compass Coffee)

• Follow O St. to the Georgetown University Front Gates

Finding the Intercultural Center (ICC) at Georgetown University

• Enter the front gates at 3700 O St. NW

• Turn right and follow the path that cuts diagonally across the lawn

• At the end of this path, turn to the right

• Cross the red brick area to enter the front doors of the ICC

• McGhee Library, where the conference will be held, is immediately inside and to the left, just past the Dean's Office
