The book project proposal titled "Unleashing Potential: Exploring STI Policies, Innovation Systems, and Scientific Progress in Central America" aims to provide a comprehensive examination of the current state of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) policies and the progress of scientific development in Central America. It focuses on addressing the challenges faced by the least developed countries in the region and aims to foster sustainable development, improve living standards, and promote regional collaboration. The book will feature contributions from invited scholars on various topics related to science policy, technological innovation, science-industry partnerships, social impacts of scientific development, and more. By compiling diverse perspectives and insights, the book aims to inform evidence-based policy-making, encourage collaboration, and unlock the potential of Central America by driving innovation and scientific progress in the region.  With support from: UCA-Publicaciones, Nicaragua, and CaraParens, Guatemala.
