Welcome!
The GeoEx Center has numerous resources along with students to help you with your mapping needs. We can assist with tabular data entry and editing, digitizing geographic data, creating new spatial data layers, deploying UAV (drones) for data collection and analysis, conducting image analysis, classifying land cover and changes there in, analysis and final map products.
While delivering the GIS services your organization needs, GeoEx Center students will gain critical skills and knowledge they can apply to their GIS career once they graduate. We are migrating to a fee for services structure offering deeply motivated student interns and academic expertise in GIS. Each semester our student interns are able to take on projects with our partners. Students are less expensive than professionals per hour and skilled GIS faculty and associates work closely with each student to assure quality results and products. We have successfully managed partnerships including the Denver Regional Council of Governance (DRCOG), City of Longmont, Town of Superior, St. Vrain Resilience Project, Mountain Area Land Trust, Colorado Cattleman's Agricultural Land Trust and more.
