Positions are paid depending on experience and length of project. Internships can range in the number of hours required to complete the project, some require only a few hours while others may take 40 hours or more. Depending on the project, you will commit to the hours outlined by the project and agree to complete the work and project deliverables outlined in the Statement of Work for the unique project. Because hours vary, we do not recommend this as a primary source of income for the student.
After a student has been paired with a project partner, the student will schedule an initial meeting to review the project scope, timeline, communication protocol, data management plan, roles, and responsibilities. After the initial meeting, students will meet their workforce partner to provide a progress update. Once complete, students will be able to add the project outcomes to their resume and portfolio.
