The phrase "In Christ" appears frequently in the book of Colossians and it functions as the pivot point for the whole book. If we misunderstand what it means to be in Christ, we will miss the point of this book.

In this sermon series, we will answer questions like:

• What does it mean to be in Christ?

• What does it look like daily to be in Christ?

• How do I become in Christ?

As we do this we will see that there is no better place to be than in Christ. The purpose of the book of Colossians is to prove that because Christ is supreme over all there is no better place to put your hope than in Him.

We will be encouraged to flee from anything that seeks to add to Christ or take away from how amazing He is. He is Lord over all, including our salvation, as we will see in our study of Colossians.
