"Gathering" is an intentional time of 'gathering together' in conversation, in prayer, or in class and usually follows after the worship service.
There's a place for all ages from nursery age children to adults.
Official gathering, that is, classes for ALL ages, usually only runs during the school year.
During the summer months, people are still encouraged to stick around after the service to gather
with one another for as long as they like.
Our Gathering class electives promise to be deep in content & rich in conversation.
We facilitate these classrooms to help you GROW as a Christ Follower & to encourage you in your daily walk.
Whether you invest 50 minutes into a class or choose to fellowship after church,
the Pastors and Elders strongly encourage you to use THE GATHERING time intentionally.
It turns out giving up your “right” to be offended can be one of the most freeing, healthy, simplifying, relaxing, refreshing, stress-relieving, encouraging things you can do.
It’s a radical, provocative idea: We’re not entitled to get offended or stay angry. The idea of our own “righteous anger” is a myth. It is the number one problem in our societies today and, as Dallas Willard says, Christians have not been taught out of it. But what if Christians were the most unoffendable people on the planet?
In Unoffendable we will find concrete, practical ways to live life with less stress. (The source Jeff will be using is the book "Unoffendable" by Brant Hansen) lective 1

What it's about:
"The Essentials: Ten Hills to Die On" will cover the ten statements of faith of the EFCA. However, we will view these statements through the lens of why they are the hills we are willing to die on. The goal of this class is to better understand what we believe as the EFCA and to develop a humble orthodoxy within our church. Doctrine is important and equally important is the ability to define the essentials of each doctrine. Discerning the essentials is what we will practice in this class together.
