Biology
Summary of learning - This week in Biology students learned about how the leaf is adapted to enable photosynthesis to occur and gases to be exchanged. They also studied the factors that affect the rate of photosynthesis (textbook pages 139, 142-143).
Tasks to be completed - Students should complete questions 1-6 on pages 148-149 of their textbook. They should complete these questions in their note book and submit their responses to their Biology teacher on Google Classroom.
Chemistry
Summary of learning - This week in Chemistry students learned about covalent bonding and properties of simple molecular structures. They also learned how to show the bond formation in covalent compounds using dot-and-cross diagrams (textbook pages 91-93).
Tasks to be completed - Students should complete question 7 on page 97 of their textbook. They should complete this question in their note book and submit their response to their Chemistry teacher on Google Classroom.
Physics
Summary of learning - In Physics this week students learned about electrical power and energy and considered how this relates to previous concepts studied within electricity (textbook pages 63-65).
Tasks to be completed - Students should complete the Electricity Homework Google Form shared as an assignment in their respective Physics Google classrooms.
Geography
Summary of learning : Demand of water- Water Surplus and Deficit.
