*Students are considered late if they arrive to class after the anthem begins.

Please note that the timings differ on Fridays, due to the shortened day.
Bus users are encouraged to move swiftly to the bus bay area and board their bus without delay to avoid holding up other bus users and/or potentially missing their bus.
All students are expected to be collected promptly, following dismissal (or following completion of scheduled ECAs).

Bus gates will close at 3:25pm.
Buses will depart at 3:30pm - AFTER non bus users have departed the bus bay area.
Students that are not picked up by 3:35pm must await collection inside the Ground Floor Canteen.

Parents/guardians, siblings, drivers and nannies are requested to collect children promptly after dismissal. In cases where this is not possible kindly inform the Ms. Mary Ann (Secondary School Secretary) - m.dimatera_gis@gemsedu.com
Students will be permitted to use their phones after dismissal time (3:15pm Monday to Thursday; 11:45am Fridays) to connect with parents/guardians, siblings, drivers or nannies.
Parents/guardians, siblings, drivers and nannies are requested to refrain from attempting to contact children during the school day via their personal mobile device, as this encourages distraction from learning and sets a negative precedence of mobile phone usage during the lessons. Using the below guidance, families are requested to establish preferred drop-uff and pick-up arrangements to support swift drop-off and collection each day.

Students arriving the school campus after 8:10am must use the Main Entrance (Security Gate #4) and sign in at the Secondary School Reception before attending their scheduled class.

Students that are being collected before the end of the school day must exit the campus via Main Entrance (Security Gate #4). Parents/guardians are required to inform the school in advance if you wish to collect your child before the end of the school day. Such instances must be for good reason and should be infrequent.
