Dear GIS Families,

Whether you are joining us from just down the street or from across the world, we are absolutely delighted to welcome you to GEMS International School (GIS). Starting a new school is a big step for any family, and we want you to feel supported and embraced right from the start. You are not alone, you are now part of a caring, connected community that is excited to get to know you and your child.

It is a joy and a privilege for me to begin my journey at GIS as the new Head of Primary. Like many of you, I am new here too, and I share the same mix of excitement and curiosity that comes with joining a new community. With many years of experience in education, mainly at TFS Canada’s International School and more recently at the International School of Geneva, I have had the honor of working closely with children, families, and dedicated educators to create to create nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environments. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of strong partnerships between home and school, and I am committed to fostering a culture where all children feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential

At GIS, we place great importance on collaboration with families. We believe that open communication and trusting relationships between home and school are the foundation for a joyful and successful educational journey.
