Meet the Elementary School Leadership Team!
All learning within the Elementary School is grounded rigorous academic standards. We believe that all of our students should be suitably challenged within a balanced program of inquiry. We take great pride in exposing our students to a wide range of learning experiences which balance both academic achievement, and also skill development. Our Elementary students are happy and engaged children who quickly develop a love for learning as we regularly encourage them to demonstrate their LEOPARD PRIDE.
For further information about Elementary School's inquiry-Based/Design Thinking Model of Learning, teachers and program of learning, please visit the DAA Elementary School website.
We have an “every student has a voice” philosophy at our school. We also have a number of opportunities for Elementary students to be involved.
This year our Wellness Ambassadors have been doing a wonderful job joining our Leadership Team in the morning to make Weekly Announcements to the school. They have been providing information, sharing tips and tricks for wellness and contributing to a positive school culture overall.
Our Elementary Student Council continue to be formally part of new student welcoming and they will be ready to greet you on your first day.
Elementary TRIBES brings our community closer, promoting team spirit across grade levels through collaboration, challenges and healthy competition! Every Friday of the month our students take part in a TRIBES assembly where prizes and extra TRIBES points are up for grabs.
