Eleanor was a dedicated beekeeper that volunteered thousands of hours to the Geauga County Beekeepers Association. She was the club secretary for quite a few years. You rarely saw her without a smile on her face.
Eleanor was a dedicated beekeeper that volunteered thousands of hours to the Geauga County Beekeepers Association. She was the club secretary for quite a few years. You rarely saw her without a smile on her face.
In Eleanor's memory, we have started a Beekeeper Scholarship fund in her name. This Scholarship is open to 12-16 year old boys or girls that are interested in becoming beekeepers. Scholarship winners will receive: 1 Package of bees (including a queen) A club member designated as a mentor, and a 1-year Club membership.
